“Brenda was seriously a joy to work with. We met up a few times before our wedding day, and she always made me feel calm. I realized on the day of the wedding that those meetings probably weren’t necessary, and I could have just sent her a shot list and been done with it because she just knows what to do. Photography on the day of the wedding went flawlessly, and she collaborated really well with our videographer. She was super methodical, making sure she got all of the shots we wanted, but she was also flexible and fun, with cute ideas that made for great pictures! She is very detail-oriented as far as the flow of the day goes - I’m pretty sure we would have forgotten to sign our marriage license if not for her! I remember making our photo book after the wedding and having such a hard time figuring out which shots I liked best. They’re all so beautiful. Needless to say, the book ended up being very thick!”

We had to do a shotgun/elopement wedding, and she worked us into her schedule with just a few weeks notice, then showed up to our day and proceeded to make it not just look like a wedding, but feel like one. She even noticed our cake topper and helped to put it on our cake! “Brenda is a splendid vendor, photographer and business woman! She went out of her way to show us how important we were as her clients. She not only collaborated with Alex on our proposal but she cleverly snuck around to capture it...AND she willingly traveled to the location several hours from her home! She met up with us several times to plan for the wedding day, hear our vision, offer her professional thoughts on what would be best, and what would or wouldn't fit with the timeline of the day, etc. On the day-of, she and her second shooter were available, flexible and willing to take charge to corral everyone as needed. She does what needs to be done to capture both the genuine and the iconic moments of YOUR day - that are true to you! Some of my favorite captures are the candid ones of us exchanging our vows and of our friends and family on the dance floor enjoying the heck out of themselves!
